3B LIVE streaming platform - you need a WebCam or Camcorder camera with RTMP supported encoder. Use H.264 video and AAC audio codecs for iOS compatibility).
Simple Format: Broadcast Live from a WebCam
You need a decent Webcam & microphone. Find a Webcam recommended for best sound and picture quality or use your built-in Webcam on your device. Your broadcast is concurrently recorded during the live stream and is saved on your account server for converting to on-demand video or webcast with presentation slides.
Ensure your Live Broadcasting computer network PORT Number 1935 is Unblocked to allow RTMP traffic
Scheduling your Live Broadcast
· Sign in to your account and go to My Studio >Live Broadcasts media library
· Schedule a new Live Broadcast
· Add broadcast title, description, date & time, logo, presenter name, related documents for your viewers to download; customise a Pre-Broadcast banner
· You may copy the stream link and file name to stream on third-party RTMP players
· Click on the Options menu next to your scheduled live stream
· Enter the Broadcast Room to add and sort your Presentation Slides in advance, if applicable
Publishing your Live Broadcast Player
Embed as a single player or add to a Playlist on your Multimedia WebTV
· Select the Live Broadcast media channel from My Studio control panel
· Click on the Options menu next to your scheduled live stream
· Select the Embed option and copy the single player embedded code to your website
· Alternatively, click on My Studio > Playlists menu and add the scheduled live stream to a playlist
· Click on the Playlist > Options menu next to your scheduled live stream
· Click on the Connect option for your live stream to appear on the Multimedia WebTV playlist on your website
Going Live
· Select the Live Broadcasts media channel from My Studio control panel
· Click on the Options menu next to your scheduled live stream
· Enter the Broadcast Room and choose WebCam as your live stream source
· Click on the Settings button to select your WebCam name and adjust size, picture and resolution, if required
· Allow and Remember the Adobe Flash Player Settings, if prompted
· Check the sound & volume; preview your broadcast in the Remote and Local View
· Click Start Broadcasting to send your audio/video broadcast to your viewers watching on the live player on your WebTV playlists, published on the 3B PORTAL or embedded as a single player on your website
· If applicable, launch your presentation slides, clicking one slide at a time to push to the live viewers in sync with your video/audio broadcast
· Convert the live stream after your presentation, preview and publish on-demand.
Professional Format: Broadcast Live from a Camcorder or TV Camera
RTMP supported live streaming encoder (rtmp:// protocol: H.264 and AAC codecs for iOS compatibility). Telestream Wirecast 4 Windows or Telestream Wirecast 4 Mac both with HDV support or Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder is required to capture the audio/video signal from camera to our live streaming servers; enabling you to broadcast live and simultaneously record the output for converting to on-demand video/webcast after the live stream.
Setting up your Encoder for Streaming
· Install Telestream Wirecast or Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder (rtmp:// protocol: H.264 and AAC codecs to support iOS streaming also) to your broadcast computer.
· Connect your Camcorder or TV Camera to your broadcast computer via HDMI, RGB Component, Composite or Firewire. Your broadcast computer must have a capture card such as: Blackmagic Intensity Pro
· Your Internet connection must support the recommended uninterrupted upload speed of at least 800kbps and above
· Your broadcast computer network PORT Number 1935 must be Unblocked to allow RTMP traffic for flash video
· Ensure the latest version of Adobe Flash Player is installed on your: MAC or Windows (OS)

Things to avoid when broadcasting live
1. Using an unreliable PC to deliver your live broadcast: it could shutdown, freeze or restart during your broadcast2. Using an unreliable Internet connection, which could hang, go down or become too slow to deliver the live stream
3. Your IT restarting your network servers or Internet connection during your live broadcast4. Please ensure you have paid your subscription fee or have enough PAYG Streaming Credits on your account before going live.
