When you broadcast live or upload on-demand videos using your 3B NEXUS account, the videos are automatically sent to our transcoding servers where your video material is encoded. Your video content is then distributed to our fast global network of servers (CDN network).
The networked computers are designed to cooperate by duplicating content on multiple servers; ensuring that if one server fails, another one instantly picks up. A function called Load Balancing (LB) identifies the location of your viewers and connects them to the nearest server; the closer the content the faster the delivery.
This infrastructure improves performance and scalability in delivering your content rapidly and efficiently to a large number of simultaneous viewers watching on the 3B PORTAL or the embedded Multimedia WebTV on your website.
